Copywriter
A copywriter tells your story or idea in a refreshing way. These words determine whether someone clicks with your brand. Their goal is to elicit a response. Along with graphic design, copywriting is the main visual deciding factor in whether someone buys your product or not.
Localizer (translator)
A localizer translates a text using transcreation. That is literally and figuratively translating words. It is a contraction of translation and creation. In addition to words, a transcreator translates abstract elements such as a concept, idea, tone-of-voice, appearance, style, cultural sensitivities, double layers and humor. Thus, your text is not translated indiscriminately, but tailored to what works for a foreign-language audience.
As a regular Flemish copywriter for Airbnb, my job is to transcreate all American campaigns into Flemish.

Voice over
A voice over narrates your words. The content of the message is obviously the most important. However, the pronunciation and the feeling generated by the voice determine whether someone clicks with your brand. The goal is to inform, to entertain or to sell.

Presenter
A presenter colours your broadcast. This voice is the face of your radio show or your podcast. The quality of the host determines the feeling that lingers after listening. I am known for my smooth, witty, clear and disarming style. For years I worked as a radio presenter for Studio Brussels (Flemish) and for Tomorrowland (English). In 2021, I was the first host of Duidelijk, the main podcast of Belgian national news outlet De Morgen.
Podcaster
A podcast tells your story or idea through on-demand audio. There is no image, so everything is painted with words and music. You have to select these carefully and tailor them to who you want to reach. The goal is to inform, entertain or spread ideas. If a company makes a podcast, it is often to market itself as an expert.
