Bram Vuylsteker
Hello, I'm Bram, a creative copywriter, voice-over artist, and podcast producer in Ghent.
I help you tell your story so that it resonates with the right people, because with the right storytelling, you can boost your sales or ratings.
You can usually find me in Ghent or Barcelona, but I have also lived in London, Adelaide, and Melbourne. I used to work as a radio presenter at Studio Brussel, where I was given the nickname vedetski.
Services
I come up with the words that will sell your product or service.
I narrate your words in a convincing and correct way.
I turn your words into on-demand audio and support you from idea to episode.
Sure buddy
How on earth can I be good at three jobs at once? Well, for the past 14 years, I've earned my living doing just that at radio stations and agencies in Belgium, the United Kingdom, and Australia. At their core, they all revolve around the same thing.
Words
Words are not important. What matters is that we mean well. Your lover understood that during your last argument: "I'm not mad at what you said, but how you said it!" No wait, bad example.
Words are not that important. Although historians do agree that thanks to our infinite vocabulary, we have become the most developed species on the planet. Anyway.
Words are not super important. There is some serious bullshit in the world. So much crap! Well, sometimes that crap makes us laugh. Sometimes you pick the wrong words and you get slapped. If you pick the right ones, loneliness often turns into connection. Hmm, okay.
Words are not the most important thing, but they kinda are.
Your ideas could change the world, but without the right words they are useless.
- Little Bram, on a profound Monday
What is my expertise?
I prefer to work on easily digestible topics such as music, travel, Australia, food & drinks, and interior design, as well as more challenging topics such as tech, sustainability, diversity, and mental health. Don't worry, you can also come to me for other topics. I just know the most about those topics. I recently started working from the European tech hub Wintercircus Collective in Ghent.
My style is casual, playful, well-founded, and to the point. Of course, everything depends on who and what you want to achieve.
I prefer to work for sustainable brands with a positive impact on the world. Serious brands that don't take themselves too seriously, but do care about their impact on our future.
Reviews
Which languages does vedetski offer on
?
Flemish (Belgian Dutch)
Mother tongue
Flemish is like Dutch, but less cheerful. It is a slightly more down-to-earth variant of Dutch and also has influences from French and English. In addition to the language, I understand perfectly how Flemish people talk to each other. We are quite reserved, nuanced, and we don't like being told what to do. West Flemish people value common sense, East Flemish people are sociable, Flemish Brussels residents like things rough and real, Antwerp residents are proud and loud, and Limburg residents like to take life slowly. Clichés, but often true.
I discovered my love for writing through my travel blog knowmehere.
Accents: General Belgian Dutch, West Flemish
English
Second language
You can find me in Ghent these days, but in recent years I have lived in the United Kingdom and Australia (London, Adelaide, Melbourne). As a result, I am completely bilingual and have a feel for English accents. Literally, but also figuratively: the culture, the humor, and the sensitivities. English is an incredibly rich language in which people can often express themselves better than in their own mother tongue. It is a global language. English opens doors.

West Flemish improv
Shht the neighbours is the first West Flemish improv podcast.
Nicole, Sabine and Nadine are three best friends from West Flanders. Every Wednesday evening - when their husbands are at tennis - they meet up for a bubbly and chat. But not too loud, because yes ... the neighbors.
This podcast is a production of vedetski and has been listened to nearly 60,000 times.
Okay, enough bragging about my own success.

I am not a 20-bed dormitory. My goal is not to be the cheapest, but to be affordable. Above all my prices are correct, for me and for you. You will spend less than on an agency and I can pay off my loan.
Freelancers rarely put their prices online. They advise you to contact them. I'm not going to lure you to my mailbox that way. You're looking for reinforcement and you want to know how much it costs. You'll find my rate with each service.
