- A selection of projects
I help brands and creators make podcasts make podcasts that stay with people.
As a podcast producer, I guide projects from idea to episode, always focusing on clarity and impact.
Below is a selection of podcasts I've produced.
Shht de gebuurs is a West Flemish improvisation podcast with Stijn Defoirdt, Katrijn Devlaminck, and me.
Each episode, we dive into the lives of three close friends from West Flanders—Nicole, Sabine, and Nadine—who get together for a glass of bubbly and a chat while their husbands are playing tennis. But not too loud, because, well... shhh, the neighbors.
I am responsible for the entire production, from concept to editing, with a strong focus on rhythm, timing, and calm within the improvised format.
Shh, the neighbors
Ostend, with one o
Ostend, with one o is a three-part narrative podcast by Eva Moeraert about Ostende, an Argentine coastal town with Belgian roots. The series is about dreams, migration, the sea, and how grand plans sometimes turn out differently than expected.
I supervised the project as producer, project manager, and final editor. Together with Eva, I came up with the title and wrote the copy. The podcast was created in 3D audio and premiered at the DS Podcast Festival. The series was made possible with support from the City of Ostend and the VAF.
Clear - De Morgen
Duidelijk is a weekly news and current affairs podcast from De Morgen in which we clarify complex topics. Each episode focuses on a subject that crops up everywhere but is rarely explained properly.
I developed the concept together with De Morgen and presented the first season. The interviews with experts were interspersed with reports, ensuring that the podcast remained journalistic without feeling heavy. The series was nominated for the Belgian Podcast Awards 2021.
(The series has since changed its format and presenter.)
Buffalo Bitches, 20 years later
Buffalo Bitches, 20 Years Later tells the story of Kimberley and Tiffany, the only two members of KAA Gent's female hooligan club. Twenty years after their time in the club, the filmmaker, Eva Moeraert, seeks out the two women, who haven't seen each other in years. A quest that is not only about football, but also about friendship, misunderstandings, and reconciliation.
As a producer, I helped bring this emotional and powerful story to life. The podcast received international acclaim and won the Prix Europa for Best European Radio Fiction Series of the Year 2022.
I also work as a copywriter when podcasts need stronger language and clearer structure.
