Blog on storytelling and copywriting for founders
Some companies don’t need to convince anyone.
You immediately understand who they are, what they do, and why it matters.
Here I write about how that works.
When should you hire a freelance copywriter? (And when shouldn't you?)
A founder sent me a screenshot. His agency had proposed a six-month retainer for three pieces of content per month. He asked me, "Is this what I need?" I said no.
What is a copywriter?
When someone asks what I do, I sometimes say "copywriter." They nod. They think they understand. But I'm not so sure.
Information doesn't convince people. Recognition does.
Your website is clear and well-written. And yet, it doesn't resonate with anyone. That's not a copywriting issue.
